Mine is about evil superhumans trying to take over the world. its kinda like, bioshock meets halo, meets dawn of the dead. the plot is mine (besides some things being slightly ripped off from other things).

We have no set genre here at BU, though most of us seem to favor medieval fantasy. The only storylines are the ones spun by the players. Often plots are created on-the-go as well as well ahead, depending on the situation and wants to play. Play a wide range of chracters from the dog at your heels to the gods on high.

We invite others of all genres to come play however as we intend to share our site's resources with any who wish to. Want a little more interaction for your group? Why not get a place on ours? Be the first to create a new world that's sci-fi, western, whatever-based (just please, no fan-base. We draw the line there.) The site itself is a nice mixture of forum and chat. So it isn't a C-box, shoutbox, or anything akin to that or yahoo. It isn't a forum. The best explanation can only be given by giving us a try. It's free so, what's there to lose?!

FAW Role-play is about an alternative to known history. In FAW its essentially on earth long before recorded time is know long before the precambrian era. Where depending which continent your on depends the technological levels. The world was founded after a war between the three base elements which during the war of the gods formed the three elemental races. Oceanian's a water elemental race that sorta look like Zora's, Volcanians the race made of solidified fire who are the ancestors to the Phoenix birds. Then the race of Energy the seven sages a twisted race. The three of them broke into a war that caused the other races descendants to close off the area Known as The kingdoms. Well the site is 4 milleniums after all that and humans, elves, ect are quite common. But The technology exceeds ours, in certain continents.

After 20 milleniums the world would vanish turning it back to modern day history. just so you understand every technological point in history on faw happened twice once in its time line and once in ours.

For instance two victorian era's ect. But the site is also based on a skill system the more you follow the rules the more you get them bent in your favor by lvling up so to speak. but abuse them and its the opposite.

Legendary Tales

Our site was basically made because random Chaos style RPs is not our style. We found that in all the randomness, every one tries to rush to make the 'Ultimate Story'. And once that 'Ultimate Story' is played out, it's kinda like "Now what?". And because of this, the site ends up dying, because no one could top that 'Ultimate Story'

We also ran into the problem of sites that had too much detail like most Dungeon and Dragon sites, which can sorta dull role play, because the posts are just simply too long.

We thought that it would be nice if we just combined both randomness and too much detailed sites, by calling it "Controlled Chaos". Which means if the members want to have an Event, they have to check in with the Admins first. Once their story is approved, we now can make their story into an Event. Because of this, this eliminates the whole "Ultimate Story", because each member will eventually come up with another Event for the site.

So, basically, our site is about our members making characters, and having them progress through time by making Events that deals with their life story.
